Your spreadsheet,
now a dashboard.

Push any Google Sheet tab straight into Instant Dashboards — then chart it, ask it questions, and share it. No CSV downloads, no copy-paste.

~5 minutes · 3 steps

What you'll need

  • Your Instant Dashboards login — the one you use for the pilot.
  • A Google Sheet with a tidy header row (names in row 1).
  • The add-on installed — use the install link we sent you.
2
Step 1

Connect once.

Open your spreadsheet and find the Instant Dashboards icon in the right-hand rail. You'll only do this part one time.

  • 1
    Open the panel
Click the Instant Dashboards logo in the side rail of any Google Sheet.
  • 2
    Click “Connect”
Hit Connect to Instant Dashboards. A Google window asks you to sign in and approve.
  • 3
    Done — it remembers you
You won't be asked again unless you choose Disconnect.
3
Step 2

Push a tab.

Go to the tab you want, then click Configure & Push This Tab. Check the column types — we pre-guess them for you.

Add a short description to each column — “Net revenue, USD” — it's the single biggest lever for better charts and answers.
  • 1
    Pick the tab
Each push imports the active tab as one table.
  • 2
    Set types & descriptions
Correct any wrong type (Number / Date / Text), add a quick description per column.
  • 3
    Push to Instant Dashboards
You'll get a confirmation with an Open in Instant Dashboards link.
4
Step 3

Use it.
Refresh it.

Your sheet is now a data source like any other. Ask the assistant, build a dashboard, or combine it with your other connected data.

  • 1
    Open & ask
“Show revenue by region for this sheet.” It builds the chart.
  • 2
    Build & combine
Make a dashboard from it, or cross it with your other sources.
  • 3
    Keep it fresh
Numbers changed? Push the same tab again — it overwrites in place and your dashboards update.
