Google Sheets add-on — quick help
Getting started
Open the step-by-step guide: Instant Dashboards — Google Sheets connector guide. It walks through connecting, pushing a tab, and using your data.
Common topics
- Connecting: open the Instant Dashboards panel in Google Sheets and click "Connect to Instant Dashboards", then sign in and approve.
- Pushing data: go to the tab you want, click "Configure & Push This Tab", set column types and descriptions, then "Push".
- Refreshing: push the same tab again to overwrite it in place — your dashboards update automatically.
- Disconnecting: use "Disconnect" in the panel to revoke access at any time.
Troubleshooting
- The panel doesn't appear: reload the spreadsheet, then reopen it from the Extensions menu.
- Connect fails or a push errors: try "Disconnect" then reconnect. If it persists, email us the message you saw.
- An "unverified app" screen during sign-in: this is expected while we're in our pilot — choose "Advanced" and continue.
